All I'm looking for is something simple. I don't really like Mint and I want something lightweight that preferably does not need an internet connection.

I want it to act mostly like those little booklets you get when you first open a bank account. So I want to be able to enter a starter balance, then add a new balance when I spend money (preferably with a short description, but nothing else). Something that would be nice is automatically calculating the new balance--so I enter "+3.25" or "-2.45" and it will automatically calculate my new balance.

I'd also really like to have a widget I can add to my home screen with my current balance.

Is there something available that is similar to this? Thanks.
