My contract is almost up and I am ready to get a new android. However, I am having a difficult time finding the best phone to game on. Right now, I am stuck between the HTC One M8 and the LG G3. The reason this decision is difficult is because despite the fact that the G3 has a better processor, the HTC One m8 has a lag free experience. But, If I were to install Cyanogenmod on the G3 (when it is eventually available), wouldn't it be able to game better than the m8 since Cyano would take up less ram than the stock LG OS, or would it still lag due to the power demanding screen? Thanks for the help, gaming is extremely important to me and I want to get the best experience possible. If there are phones better than the m8 and G3 for gaming please suggest them to me.
