Having done a lot of internet dating and having used Tinder and not really having liked it, when a notification from a male friend that I had a message from him on BLENDR arrived, I was hesitant to install this app just to read it. But wow. It is great! At first I thought having to choose all your interests from checkable lists was crazy. But that's how they match you with people who like the same stuff as you. That everyone has the same interest "tag". There's something for everyone, as they say! I managed to add "Android market", "Internet", "Reddit", "imgur", "youtube", "coding" and "Candy Crush Saga". I was so happy about that.
And above all else, I met a really nice guy who is also internet addicted who loves the Simpsons and true crime fiction and is into 80's music and indian food. Just like me. We have our second date on Saturday night. Our mutual favourite indian restaurant. Both love the same place from before we met! And yes, I asked, guys. He's not a redditor.
