Download Free Looking for the best way to share data between phones of any platform

I have an Android device, but I am looking for the easiest way to share data, files mainly, to someone with either an iphone, android phone, windows phone, etc...

I know of a few apps, like Superbeam for instance. But I think it relies on both devices having the application installed. Also, I am not sure that this works on anything other than Android devices.

does anyone have any suggestions?
